ADMISSIONS

The provisions of this admission policy are subject to their meeting the requirements of the constitution of South Africa and all applicable legislation, including the stipulations of the South African Schools Act, No. 84 of 1996, and the Northern Cape school education law.

 

No pupil will be refused admission to this school on the grounds of race, religious belief, or financial circumstances.

 

Learners must be proficient in English and Afrikaans to gain access to the school.

 

Toddlers must be potty trained before they can be enrolled in Grade RRR.

 

Where selection becomes necessary because the number of applicants exceeds the number of available places, selection shall be based on the following criteria:

 

preference will be given to siblings

preference will be given to applicants to whom this school is the nearest school to their home or parents’ work place , provided that the application is submitted in time

preference will be given to applicants with a record of academic success in identified areas

preference will be given to applicants with a record of involvement in, or who demonstrate an interest in, one or more of the cultural and sporting activities which form part of this school’s extra-curricular programme

the capacity of the school to provide an acceptable quality of education to the applicant: this provision applies particularly to applicants with special needs and barriers to learning

the age of the pupil (may not exceed grade age by more than two years)

Preference will be given to children of past pupils of this school.

FEE STRUCTURE AND PAYMENTS

SCHOOL FEES –   Gr RRR - Gr 7  -  R8 500.00 p/a or R850.00 p/m

                             Gr 8 - Gr 12    -  R9  000.00 p/a or R900.00 p/m

Our terms are as follows:

In full on the 1st day of school, or

Paid over a period of 10 months  in equal installments from 1 February till 1 November.

School fees are only to be paid by EFT Payments, Direct Deposits or Card Facility.

Monthly payments are due and payable on the 1st of each month.
